Miniature cows are wonderful for the rancher with small acreage. They are identical to regular cows in every way but have been selectively bred to be one-third to one-half the size of standard cattle. This makes them more cost effective for farms with less land to graze. In the event of a food crisis or grain shortage you will still be able to produce top quality breeding stock to increase your herd on very little land. Remember, less food means less manure to haul away! A mini is known to be gentle, and because of their smaller size easier to work with. |
